Do you have wireless Logitech devices such as keyboards and mice that you have lost their original USB receivers? If so, we have discovered how to synchronize any Logitech device that utilizes a Unifying Receiver. What is great is these instructions will allow you to sync up to 6 supported devices to a single Unifying Receiver.

Note: This only works for supported devices. For a full list of supported devices, visit support.logitech.com/software/unifying and click "Works with these products."

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/unifying and click the blue "Download Now" button to download the Logitech Unifying Software.
  2. Install the Logitech Unifying Software on your computer.
  3. Plug your Unifying Receiver (the small USB dongle) into an available USB port on your computer.
  4. Open the Logitech Unifying Software. You will see a screen showing any currently paired devices.
  5. Click the "+" or "Add Device" button to begin pairing a new device.
  6. Turn your Logitech wireless device off, then back on. The software should detect it and complete the pairing.
  7. Repeat for additional devices — up to 6 can be paired to a single Unifying Receiver.

This is a particularly useful tip if you have a spare Unifying Receiver but lost the one that originally came with your keyboard or mouse. As long as the device supports the Unifying protocol (look for the orange Unifying logo on the device or packaging), this method works reliably.
