VOIP Phone Questions

Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes. We port your existing business numbers to the new VOIP system with no interruption to your service. The process typically takes 2–4 weeks and your numbers stay active throughout.
What internet speed do I need for VOIP?
Each concurrent call uses approximately 100 Kbps. A 10 Mbps business internet connection can comfortably support 50+ simultaneous calls. We assess your bandwidth as part of the setup process.
What happens if my internet goes down?
We configure failover routing to mobile phones or an alternate number so calls always get through. Many VOIP systems also support 4G/LTE failover with a cellular backup router.
Do you support 911 calling from VOIP?
Yes. We configure Enhanced 911 (E911) on every VOIP system, registering your physical address so emergency services can locate you when you call 911 from a VOIP line.
